Sacramento Dentistry Group is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility.

Conformance target

We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Current status: partially conformant. Some content may not yet fully meet every criterion. We are actively identifying and addressing remaining gaps.

Accessibility toolbar

Every page includes a built-in accessibility toolbar (the floating button in the lower right corner). It is built in-house and does not rely on a third-party overlay service. It lets you adjust text size, letter spacing, line height, contrast, color mode, link visibility, motion, focus indicators, cursor size, and font (including a dyslexia-friendly option). Your preferences are saved locally in your browser and do not require an account.

Keyboard and assistive technology

The website is navigable by keyboard alone. We use semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, and visible focus indicators to support screen readers and other assistive technologies. We test with Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and the NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack screen readers.

Known limitations

• Video captions. Some older patient education videos do not yet have closed captions. We are adding them as we update content.
• Third-party embeds. Our booking tool (NexHealth) and map embeds (Google Maps) are provided by third parties whose accessibility we cannot fully control.
• Legacy images. A small number of images from our previous website may be missing descriptive alt text. Please report any you find.
