Emergency dental care

A broken tooth does not wait for a convenient time.

We prioritize emergency patients and work to get you seen the same day whenever possible. If you are experiencing severe pain, trauma, swelling, or a knocked out tooth, call us first and we will triage over the phone.

How we plan

Our approach to treatment planning

We do not recommend treatment you do not need, and we do not push the most expensive option when a simpler one will work. Every treatment plan starts with a thorough exam, honest findings, and a written estimate.

For patients who need multiple procedures, we sequence the work in the order that makes clinical sense, not the order that generates the most revenue in the shortest time. We are building long term relationships with people who live and work in Sacramento, not running volume.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about our dental services and how we approach treatment.

What dental services do you offer?

We provide the full range of general, cosmetic, restorative, and emergency dentistry. That includes cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, dental implants, Invisalign, veneers, teeth whitening, gum disease treatment, laser therapy, sedation dentistry, pediatric care, mouthguards, and sleep apnea appliances. Most patients can have all of their dental work done in our office without needing a referral.

How do I know which procedure I need?

Start with a consultation. We examine your teeth, gums, and bite, take any imaging that is due, and walk you through what we find. Then we explain the realistic options, the pros and cons of each, the expected timeline, and the cost. You make the decision with all the information in front of you.

Can most procedures be done in one visit?

Many can. Cleanings, fillings, bonding, whitening, and simple extractions are typically completed in a single appointment. Crowns, implants, Invisalign, and root canals usually require two or more visits. We will tell you the expected number of appointments before treatment begins so you can plan accordingly.

Do you offer sedation for dental procedures?

Yes. We offer oral conscious sedation for patients who experience anxiety, have a strong gag reflex, or need extensive work done in fewer appointments. Read more about sedation dentistry.

Are your procedures covered by insurance?

Most preventive and restorative procedures are covered at standard rates by dental PPO plans. Cosmetic procedures like whitening and elective veneers are typically not covered. We verify benefits before your visit and provide a written estimate so there are no surprises. See accepted insurance plans.

What if I need a specialist?

We have a board certified periodontist on staff and doctors with advanced training in implant dentistry, endodontics, and cosmetic work. For the rare cases that require an outside specialist, we coordinate the referral and stay involved in your treatment plan.
